Houston Texans sign veteran cornerback Bryce Hall

The Houston Texans have signed veteran free agent cornerback Bryce Hall to their 90-man roster. The move follows a successful workout and aims to bolster a secondary currently facing various injuries.

Hall, 28, was a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, where he played four seasons and started 26 of 40 games. Most recently, he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Standing 6-foot-1, Hall is expected to provide depth and versatility, potentially contributing to both defensive coverage and special teams.

The signing comes as the Texans manage roster adjustments, including placing quarterback Graham Mertz and running back Joshua Pitsenberger on injured reserve, and waiving kicker Chris Freeman.
