Houthi militia announces deaths of 14 members including several officers

Houthi-affiliated media outlets have released the names of 14 members killed, including several military officers, ahead of funeral ceremonies across various Yemeni provinces. The deceased include three brigadier generals, a colonel, a lieutenant colonel, and a first lieutenant.

The individuals originate from several regions, including Sanaa, Hajjah, Raymah, Amran, Saada, Dhamar, and the capital.

Local sources in Sanaa reported that some of the casualties resulted from airstrikes in the Taiz governorate. This follows recent military operations targeting Houthi positions, movements, and gatherings in multiple fronts. In Taiz, military forces have reported conducting airstrikes on Houthi military sites in areas such as Al-Abous and Hayjat al-Abd.
