Hove, Belgium Opens 24/7 Cash Kiosk on Sint‑Laureysplein

A new 24‑hour cash point opened on 24 July in Hove, Belgium, at Sint‑Laureysplein 13. Mayor Thierry Lens inaugurated the Cash Kiosk, which is part of Batopin’s shared ATM network on behalf of Belfius, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING and KBC.

The kiosk provides cash withdrawals, PIN changes, balance enquiries and additional card services to any bank customer. It is equipped with accessibility features such as a voice‑guided system for the visually impaired, a Braille‑labelled keypad, wheelchair‑friendly operation and a privacy screen that darkens when a headset is plugged in. Security measures include a shielded keypad, mirror‑type screens, permanent camera surveillance and a help‑desk contact number.

The location was chosen for its central, visible and safe setting near the post office, aiming to serve especially older residents and those frequenting the village centre.
