How to Fish: Guide to weapon skins and fishing rods

In the game How to Fish, players can acquire various cosmetic skins for weapons and fishing rods. Weapon skins for items such as the Uzi, Sniper Rifle, Pistol, and Knife are purely aesthetic and do not increase combat power.

To obtain these skins, players must use the Reel of Fortune Gacha machine located on every island. This process requires catching a rare rainbow fish known as a Drip Creature, which is identifiable by rainbow text during the catch prompt. Feeding a Drip Creature into the machine provides a skin, with a chance to hit a triple jackpot for a Legendary weapon skin.

Regarding equipment, the game features different fishing rods. The Crab Fishing Rod is the initial basic tool available for $3 on the first island, capable of catching Rock Crabs, Shrimp, Lobsters, Spider Crabs, and Piranhas. The Pull Back Rod, available on the second island, serves as the primary end-game tool capable of catching all fish and boss mobs through the fifth island. The Pull Back Rod features 13 available skins that can also be obtained via the Gacha machine using Drip Creatures.
