Howard Stern faces staff severance disputes and NDA lawsuit

Howard Stern's SiriusXM show cut roughly a dozen employees as he prepares to reduce his output to one weekly show after Labor Day. The laid‑off staff were offered severance equal to about one week of pay for each year of service, and several have declined the offer, refusing to sign the attached non‑disclosure agreements and seeking larger payouts. Some former producers report feeling satisfied after negotiating with HR, while others continue to press for better terms.

Separately, former executive assistant Leslie Kuhn sued Stern and his wife Beth, alleging a hostile work environment at Stern's production company One Twelve and claiming that NDAs signed in 2022 and 2025 were forged. A judge rejected Kuhn's claim that the 2025 agreement was forged, describing the allegation as “a bald assertion,” and upheld the enforceability of the agreements. The lawsuit also highlighted Kuhn's duties, which expanded to managing household staff and feline rescue operations for the Sterns.
