Howard Stern's Lawyer Labels Ex‑Assistant's NDA Suit Frivolous

Attorney Andrew Mark Goldsmith, representing shock‑jock Howard Stern, sent a private email to opposing counsel John Joseph Leonard warning that Leslie Kuhn’s proposed second amended complaint over alleged fabricated non‑disclosure agreements is “futile and frivolous.” Goldsmith asserted that Stern and his wife Beth have already waived any right to enforce the NDAs in publicly filed court documents and warned that proceeding with the amendment could invite sanctions for a “vexatious, wasteful” use of judicial resources.

Kuhn, who filed the original lawsuit in April alleging a hostile work environment and fraudulent confidentiality agreements, sought to amend the complaint to claim she never signed the September 2022 agreement. The email was disclosed when Kuhn’s lawyer submitted a screenshot to the New York County Clerk, and the exchange was reported by Page Six.
