Hoymiles launches HiBattery 4020 home storage series in Munich

Hoymiles held a global launch event in Munich on June 22‑23, 2026, unveiling its HiBattery 4020 series of plug‑in home batteries. The lineup includes the HiBattery 4020 X, a hybrid unit that connects directly to photovoltaic modules with up to 4 kW PV input, and the HiBattery 4020 AC, an AC‑coupled retrofit solution. The series features automotive‑grade LiFePO₄ cells, multi‑layer BMS, aerosol fire suppression, IP66 protection and an AI‑driven energy‑ledger dashboard that optimises usage according to dynamic tariffs.

The event attracted more than 180 European distributors, industry leaders and partners such as Tepto and Elektramat, and concluded with an “Unbreakable Alliance” ceremony celebrating collaborations with 25 key clients. The HiBattery 4020 series received the EUPD Innovation Award for safety and innovation. Hoymiles CEO Dr Yang Bo said the launch marks a shift from micro‑inverter leadership to complete home‑energy solutions, while Vice‑President Guy Rong highlighted the creation of a reliable energy ecosystem for homeowners.
