HoYoverse announces Honkai: Star Rail 4.5 and Zenless Zone Zero crossover

HoYoverse has announced several major updates for its titles, including the launch of Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5, titled ‘To Roll the Stars in Astropolis,’ scheduled for August 26, 2026. The update will transition the storyline to Astropolis, the headquarters of the Interastral Peace Corporation, and introduce new playable 5-star characters: Robin • Summeretto, a Wind character following the Path of Remembrance, and Aventurine • Waveflair, a Quantum character following the Path of Elation.

Additionally, a significant crossover collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero has been confirmed for Winter 2026. Unlike previous collaborations, this event will feature character crossovers where playable characters from one game will appear in the other. While specific character rosters have not been officially finalized, the collaboration aims to integrate content across both titles.
