HoYoverse announces Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 launch

HoYoverse has announced that the Version 4.5 update for Honkai: Star Rail, titled ‘To Roll the Stars in Astropolis’, will launch on August 26, 2026. The update will be available on PC, PS5, iOS, and Android.

In the new narrative arc, players will travel to Astropolis, an Interastral Peace Corporation stronghold, to seek aid for the disaster-stricken Planarcadia following the defeat of Lord Ravager Asat Pramad. The story involves navigating the IPC hierarchy to secure power to combat the Voracity.

The update introduces new characters, including 5-star Robin • Summeretto (Remembrance: Wind) and Aventurine • Waveflair (Elation: Quantum). Additionally, 5-star characters Hyacine and Ashveil are scheduled to appear in banners across the update's phases. HoYoverse also confirmed a future collaboration with Zenless Zone Zero later this year.
