HoYoverse announces Honkai: Star Rail version 4.6 release date

HoYoverse has announced that version 4.6 of Honkai: Star Rail, titled ‘A Dance with the Beast on the Eve of the Moonlight’, will be released globally on September 28, 2026.

The narrative follows the aftermath of Nihilux revealing their identity as Aha, the Aeon of Elation. The story moves to the Institute of Life Sciences in Astrópolis, where characters must investigate a conspiracy led by Madame Yabuli to weaponize biological shells. This plot involves potential links to factions worshipping the Voracity and threatens the stability of Planarcadia.

In terms of gameplay, the update introduces Pearl, a new five-star Ice-type character following the Path of Elation. Pearl features defensive support mechanics, such as the ability to absorb damage for allies, and specialized combat abilities that provide bonuses to teams composed of Elation-path characters.
