HP has launched the EliteBoard G1a, a desktop‑class PC built into a portable keyboard. The device runs Windows 11 Pro on an AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processor with an integrated Radeon 800M GPU and supports up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and 2 TB of storage. It targets enterprise scenarios such as hot‑desking, medical stations and hotel kiosks, offering modular memory, a built‑in battery lasting about four hours, speakers, microphone and optional docking via USB‑C. Pricing begins at AU$2,685 in Australia and is sold only through business channels; in the United States the entry model is listed near US$1,500, while New Zealand retailers price it around NZ$3,600. The EliteBoard G1a is not intended to replace laptops but to address inefficiencies of traditional desktop setups by providing a compact, movable workstation that plugs into existing monitors and peripherals.
