HP marks 10 years of Multi Jet Fusion as polymer 3D printing market hits $9.45 bn

HP celebrated a decade since introducing its Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) powder‑bed technology, a foundation of the company's additive‑manufacturing business. Senior executives Alex Monino, SVP and GM of Additive Manufacturing Solutions, and Sascha de Peña Hempel, Distinguished Technologist, said the division now grows about 25 % annually and recently launched the HP 1200, the most accessible MJF system to date.

Separately, VoxelMatters released its 2026 polymer AM market report, noting that the sector reached $9.45 billion in 2025, an 18.7 % year‑over‑year increase. Hardware accounted for $4.36 billion, services $3.21 billion, and materials $1.89 billion. The report highlighted shifting fortunes among key players, with some firms expanding while others, such as 3D Systems and Anycubic, faced market pressure.
