HP partners with OpenAI to embed Frontier AI across its enterprise
HP announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to integrate the company’s Frontier platform into HP’s global products and operations. The collaboration will drive AI‑powered solutions for customer‑facing channels, partner interactions, employee productivity, and software development, building on HP’s Workforce Experience Platform (WXP).
HP’s chief strategy and transformation officer, Prakash Arunkundrum, said the partnership will “fundamentally rethink how AI can deliver better outcomes” and create a consistent experience across store, partner, chat and voice interfaces. OpenAI’s chief revenue officer, Denise Dresser, described HP as an “exceptional early partner” turning early value from OpenAI APIs into repeatable systems.
The firms also plan to co‑develop agentic AI devices optimized for always‑on inference, enabling continuous AI workloads across HP’s PCs, workstations, printers and collaboration solutions. The effort is positioned as part of HP’s broader AI hardware and “Future of Work” strategy, aiming to make AI an operating layer within enterprise workflows.
