HP prepares ZBook Ultra G3a launch and upcoming Intel-based EliteBook

HP is preparing to launch the ZBook Ultra G3a mobile workstation in October. The 16-inch laptop is built on AMD’s next-generation Gorgon Halo platform, which utilizes the Ryzen AI Max 400-series chips. These APUs feature high CPU core counts and powerful integrated graphics designed to compete with discrete GPU-equipped workstations.

Separately, leaks from the SiSoftware benchmark database suggest an unreleased HP EliteBook X G3i may feature Intel’s upcoming Nova Lake CPU architecture. The entry describes a 20-core processor with a boost clock of up to 4.6GHz. While Intel has not confirmed a launch date, reports indicate mass production for Nova Lake could begin in the fourth quarter of this year, with a potential release in early 2027.
