HP's Smart Tank series, including the 7005 and 7305 models, is gaining traction in both home and professional environments due to its refillable ink tank architecture. These systems aim to replace traditional cartridges to reduce the total cost of ownership and energy consumption.

The HP Smart Tank 7005 is positioned for high-volume home or small office use, featuring automatic duplex printing, Wi-Fi connectivity, and up to three years of included ink. It utilizes refillable bottles designed to prevent spills and stains.

For professional settings, the HP Smart Tank 7305 offers advanced connectivity, including an Ethernet RJ45 port for LAN integration. It provides high-volume printing capabilities, with an estimated cost per page of €0.002 for monochrome and €0.007 for color. The model includes a 250-sheet paper tray and a 35-sheet automatic document feeder.
