HPBOSE begins applications for November 2026 Teacher Eligibility Test

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially opened the online application process for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled for November 2026. Interested candidates can register through the official website, hpbose.org.

Applications must be submitted by October 3 at 11:59 PM to avoid late fees. From October 4 to October 8, candidates may still apply but will be required to pay an additional late fee of 600 rupees. The standard application fee is 1,200 rupees for the general category, while candidates in the OBC, SC, ST, and physically handicapped categories are required to pay 700 rupees.

The examination will cover nine distinct categories, including TGT Arts, TGT Medical, TGT Non-Medical, TGT Hindi, TGT Sanskrit, JBT, Punjabi, Urdu, and Special Educator TET. The exams are scheduled to take place between November 22 and December 6, 2026. A correction window will be available from October 9 to October 12, though changing categories or sub-categories will require visiting the board office by October 15.
