HPE expands ‘Saudi Made’ server portfolio in Riyadh

HPE has expanded its ‘Saudi Made’ server portfolio with the introduction of the HPE ProLiant Compute DL360 and DL380 Gen12 models. These next-generation servers are manufactured at the alfanar facility in Riyadh and are powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors.

The initiative aims to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by strengthening local technology production, diversifying the economy, and enhancing digital sovereignty. By producing infrastructure locally, the move allows organizations to process and store data within national borders to meet data residency and compliance requirements.

The new Gen12 servers are designed for energy efficiency and high performance, with HPE stating they can deliver up to 41% better performance per watt compared to legacy enterprise systems and up to 65% annual power savings. The systems include enhanced security, simplified management, and AI-driven insights to support data-intensive workloads.
