HPE integrates AI-driven networking with SASE and SD-WAN
HPE has integrated its Networking EdgeConnect unified Secure Networking Service Edge (SASE) solution with HPE Mist and HPE Aruba Central. This integration forms part of the company’s self-driving network strategy, aiming to provide a unified agentic framework for managing enterprise networking environments from the edge to the cloud.
The move allows IT teams to manage and troubleshoot the entire network—including Wi-Fi, campus switches, branch offices, WAN connections, and cloud security—as a single connected environment. By utilizing the Mist AI platform and the Marvis AI engine, the system gathers telemetry and user state data from HPE Juniper routers, switches, access points, and firewalls to offer actionable insights and automated workflows.
Key features include the Marvis Actions component, which identifies and prioritizes network problem remediation, and an agentic mesh for trusted automation. The system also utilizes user experience twinning and a large experience model to predict and prevent issues with applications such as Zoom and Teams.
