Hradec Králové coalition forms between Změna pro Hradec, Greens, and KDU-ČSL

Following the municipal elections in Hradec Králové, a new coalition is forming between Změna pro Hradec, the Greens, and KDU-ČSL. The group holds three mandates, which are considered essential for securing a majority in the city assembly.

Erbsová, the leader of this three-party coalition, stated that while her group is mathematically vital to reaching a 20-mandate majority, she does not view herself as a mere ‘kingmaker.’ She noted that the decision to cooperate with the Hradecký demokratický klub was made quickly due to ideological alignment. Although the ANO movement also reached out for cooperation, the emerging coalition has prioritized its existing partners.
