Hradec Králové extends cemetery hours for All Souls' Day

Cemeteries in Hradec Králové will extend their opening hours from October 26 to November 3, remaining open until 20:00 to accommodate visitors during the All Souls' Day period. The cemetery office in Kukleny will also operate with extended hours on specific days, though it will remain closed on weekends and the public holiday on November 3.

To assist visitors, technical services will provide additional tools for loan, mobile toilets at the Kukleny, Pouchov, and Lesní cemeteries, and increased waste container collection. Electric vehicles may be available by prior arrangement to help transport heavy or bulky items to gravesites.

Public transport capacity will be increased on October 31 and November 1, including the deployment of high-capacity articulated vehicles on line 3. Additionally, municipal police will increase patrols near cemeteries to ensure visitor safety, manage traffic flow, and oversee parking and adherence to cemetery regulations. Authorities have advised visitors to remain vigilant regarding personal belongings and to avoid leaving valuables in plain sight within vehicles.
