Hradec Králové teams dominate regional hockey round

Teams from the Hradec Králové region achieved significant success during the recent inter-regional round of the regional hockey league. Out of six matches, five resulted in victories for Hradec Králové representatives, with Lokomotiva Moravská Třebová being the only team from the Pardubice region to maintain its standing.

A major highlight was Náchod's dominant performance against Litomyšl. Náchod secured a 6-0 shutout victory, aided by a clean sheet from goalkeeper David Račan. Litomyšl coach Petr Pešina noted that his team struggled to find any rhythm during the match.

Other notable results included comebacks by Spartak Polič and Spartak Chocen, both of whom overturned early leads to defeat their opponents. In Nové Město nad Metují, the home team secured a victory against Hlinsko following a decisive five-minute penalty awarded to Adam Bříza.
