Hranice municipal office extends hours for election ID services

The Hranice municipal office is extending its operating hours to assist citizens in preparing for the upcoming municipal and Senate elections on October 9 and 10, 2026. To exercise voting rights, citizens must present a valid national ID card, passport, or an updated eDoklady digital ID.

For those without valid identification, the office is offering free temporary ID cards. These can be requested as early as five working days before the election and as late as the first day of voting. The temporary documents are valid only for the duration of the specific election round.

Extended hours at the civil affairs department on Zámecká 118 will be available on Friday, October 9, from 8:00–11:30 and 14:00–22:00. If a second round of Senate elections occurs, extended hours will also be provided on Friday, October 16, during the same time slots.
