Hüray Hügül warns of kidney and liver damage from excessive supplements

During the ‘A to Z Aesthetic Summit’ held in Antalya, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüray Hügül warned that excessive use of dietary supplements can cause damage to the kidneys and liver.

Hügül, a board member of the Academy of Cosmetology and Dermatology, emphasized that maintaining healthy and youthful skin requires conscious lifestyle habits and professional medical guidance. She cautioned against following unverified advice or using home-made and unregulated products, noting that treatments that work for one person may be harmful to another.

She advised individuals to consult dermatologists rather than relying on hearsay or ‘under-the-counter’ applications to ensure safety and scientific efficacy in aesthetic and skin health practices.
