The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Palm Springs • Coachella Valley will host its 25th annual Garden Party, the Silver Palm Edition, on Saturday, November 7, at the Dinah Shore Estate. The milestone fundraiser aims to raise essential funds for the organization’s national work regarding LGBTQ+ equality.

This year’s event will honor two individuals for their contributions to the community. Acclaimed photographer Michael Childers will receive the HRC Community Impact Award, recognizing his five-decade career and his philanthropic efforts that have supported various LGBTQ+ organizations. Marc Malkin, a Senior Culture & Events Editor at Variety, will be presented with the HRC Visibility Award for his work in media. KESQ’s Sandie Newton is scheduled to host the awards presentation.
