Hércules CF mourns death of 11-year-old player Aitor Escribano

Hércules CF is mourning the death of 11-year-old Aitor Escribano, a player for the club’s Alevín C youth team.

Reports indicate that Escribano suffered a brain hemorrhage at his home after complaining of a headache upon waking. Despite being taken to the hospital for emergency care, he passed away a few hours after admission.

In tribute to the young athlete, Hércules CF wore black armbands during a recent preseason friendly against Yeclano at the Bonalba Golf Resort. The opposing team observed a minute of silence to honor his memory. The club released an emotional statement expressing deep sorrow and offering support to his family, friends, and teammates.
