Hércules CF schedules six more pre‑season friendlies ahead of 2026‑27 campaign

Spanish third‑division side Hércules CF began its 2026‑27 pre‑season on 13 July and confirmed that six additional friendly matches will be played before the league starts at the end of August. The club, now in its third consecutive season in Primera RFEF and targeting promotion to Segunda División, will face opponents such as Cartagena in San Pedro del Pinatar and will host a match against Real Murcia in Alicante later in the month.

The first pre‑season test took place on a Saturday in Mutxamel, where Hércules came from behind to defeat the AFE Selection 2‑1. Hamza, a youth‑team prospect, scored the winning goal in stoppage time after Fran Sol had equalised earlier in the second half. Goalkeeper Carlos Abad was highlighted for his performance, and the fixture was noted as the inaugural pre‑season game for the AFE squad.
