Hristijan Mickoski says VMRO-DPMNE will contest early elections if requested

Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski has stated that his party is prepared to respond positively if the opposition formally requests early parliamentary elections through the Assembly.

Mickoski noted that while the current government holds a mandate for a full four-year term with regular elections scheduled for April 2028, his party would enter the electoral race if a unified opposition—including coalitions led by DUI, LSDM, and Levica—submits an official request. He expressed confidence that his party would win such an election.
