Hristo Krusharski leaves Lokomotiv Plovdiv owner role

Hristo Krusharski has announced his departure as the owner of the Bulgarian football club Lokomotiv Plovdiv. He stated that he is transferring his shares back at the nominal value he originally paid. Krusharski indicated that his lawyers have been authorized to finalize the transfer through a notary if no suitable buyer is found to accept the shares.

The decision follows recent controversies and criticism from certain individuals and fan groups. Krusharski specifically cited negative attitudes and allegations made by people, including naming Atanas Neykov, regarding the misuse of club funds and public procurement. He described himself as being “slandered” more than he has gained from his involvement.

Despite stepping down, Krusharski expressed his continued commitment to the club, stating that he will provide 10,000 euros in monthly financial assistance to Lokomotiv Plovdiv. He also called upon the fans who opposed him to contribute financially to support the team.
