Héron launches Continental vintage-inspired sports watch collection

Montreal-based watchmaker Héron has launched the Continental collection, a series of three vintage-inspired sports watches designed for daily wear. The collection draws aesthetic inspiration from mid-century exploration timepieces, such as the Rolex Explorer and Universal Genève Polerouter, while incorporating modern engineering.

The Continental features a compact 37mm stainless steel case with an 11mm thickness and a 43mm lug-to-lug span. To enhance durability, the case undergoes a surface-hardening treatment reaching up to 1200hv on brushed surfaces. The watches are powered by a Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement and offer 100 meters of water resistance.

Available dial options include sunray black, sunray blue, and cream lacquer. The design utilizes a two-layer sandwich dial with a luminous base and cut-out numerals. The collection is priced at approximately $630.
