Hrvatska pošta to release stamps honoring Alfi Kabiljo and Krunoslav Cigoj

Hrvatska pošta (HP) is releasing the fourth installment of its ‘Croatian Music’ commemorative stamp series on August 27. This edition honors two prominent figures in the Croatian music scene: composer Alfi Kabiljo and opera singer Krunoslav Cigoj.

Alfi Kabiljo (1935–2025) was a versatile composer, conductor, and producer known for his work in theater, film, and television, as well as his contributions to musicals and popular songs such as ‘Tvoja zemlja’. Krunoslav Cigoj (1949–2015) was a renowned tenor, opera director, and diplomat who achieved international success in major opera houses after studying in Vienna.

The stamps, designed by Ivona Đogić Đurić, will be printed in an edition of 25,000 copies per motif. The release includes a special first-day envelope, with commemorative postmarks available at the Zagreb post office on August 27 and 28.
