Hrvatske autoceste develops solar plant plans near Sredanci
Hrvatske autoceste (HAC) has completed the conceptual design for solar power plants at several locations along Croatian motorways, including a significant project near the Sredanci junction on the A5 motorway. The proposed solar installation at Sredanci is expected to cover approximately 11 hectares and could produce an estimated 3.8 MWh of electricity annually.
HAC is currently evaluating the technical feasibility, economic justification, and potential optimization of these solutions. The company is considering alternative implementation models to ensure the projects align with its energy needs and development priorities.
Other planned locations for solar plants include the Ivanja Reka junction, which is projected to have a higher annual production of 6.3 MWh, as well as rest areas at Rastovica and the Zagreb-Plitvice section.
