Hrvatski demokršćani branch established in Nova Gradiška

The city organization of the Croatian Democratic Party (Hrvatski demokršćani) has been established in Nova Gradiška. Mario Magdić was elected as the first president of this local branch.

In a move to consolidate political support ahead of the by-elections scheduled for September 6, the Croatian Democratic Party has announced its full support for Bruno Bušić, the candidate for mayor representing the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). Party leader Miljenko Rilje stated that the formation of the party is a response to the perceived weakening of democratic values in Croatia. The alliance aims to unite various democratic options at the local, county, and national levels.
