HSA Group companies receive international food safety and environmental certifications

HSA Group (Hayel Saeed Anam & Co.) has announced that several of its industrial companies in Yemen have obtained international certifications for food safety and environmental management. The companies received the ISO 22000 certification for food safety management systems and the ISO 14001 certification for environmental management systems.

The certifications were issued following assessments conducted by DNV, a specialized management systems certification body, under the British UKAS and Italian ACCREDIA accreditation frameworks. This achievement is part of the group’s strategic transformation project in the Yemen region, aimed at enhancing operational standards despite local economic and logistical challenges.

Nabil Hayel Saeed, Chairman and Managing Director for the Yemen region, stated that these certifications are not merely symbolic but represent a continuous operational commitment to improving performance, ensuring product safety, and protecting the environment. He noted that the group has been developing efficiency programs under global governance frameworks since 2018 to support supply chain continuity.
