HSBC expands investment access in Singapore and maintains bullish equity outlook

HSBC Private Bank has launched HSBC Access in Singapore, providing ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients with access to institutional-grade products and exclusive investment opportunities. The offering includes venture capital funds, private market, and direct investment opportunities, some of which were previously restricted to institutional clients. This expansion follows a similar launch in Hong Kong and aims to support the local innovation ecosystem by connecting clients with technology start-ups and high-growth companies.

Separately, HSBC maintains a bullish outlook on US and Japanese equities. Regarding the Nikkei 225, the bank views the current price compression as a pause within a structural uptrend supported by corporate governance reforms and Bank of Japan normalization. For the S&P 500, HSBC suggests that market advances have been driven by broadening earnings rather than multiple expansion, noting that the current price structure remains consistent with a series of consolidation shelves and breakouts.
