HSBC Life expands cross-border healthcare with four new lounges
HSBC Life is expanding its cross-border healthcare services by launching four new Care+ Premium Lounges in Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Macau on 14 October. This expansion brings the insurer’s network to five total locations, following the opening of a Shenzhen lounge last year.
In partnership with Jiahui Health, the company will operate lounges in Shanghai, Suzhou, and the Futian district of Shenzhen. The Macau facility will be managed in collaboration with iRad Hospital. These lounges are designed to assist policyholders from Hong Kong and mainland China by providing appointment coordination, medical escort services, and assistance in navigating unfamiliar healthcare facilities.
Policyholders may also receive discounts on selected medical and dental services, along with preferential rates for health screenings. HSBC Life stated that the initiative responds to increased travel and migration between Hong Kong and mainland China, noting that healthcare access is a critical factor for those living, working, or retiring across borders.
