HSBC Vietnam wins Asian Innovation Excellence Award for Premier services

HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. has been named the winner of the Vietnam Growth Innovation of the Year in the Banking category at the Asian Innovation Excellence Awards 2026. The award recognizes the bank’s development of an integrated growth ecosystem tailored for affluent and future-affluent customers.

The redesigned Premier proposition focuses on four pillars: Wealth, Health & Wellbeing, Travel & Lifestyle, and International. Health-related services include medical concierge support, remote consultations, and overseas medical assistance. To support these services, the bank implemented an AI-enabled Productivity Suite to reduce administrative tasks for relationship managers.

Following these initiatives, HSBC Vietnam reported a 27% year-on-year increase in total relationship balances, a 79% rise in invested assets, and an 18% growth in its active Premier customer portfolio. The bank also expanded its Employee Workplace Solutions to create a pipeline for future Premier growth through simplified digital onboarding and mobile self-service options.
