Hüseyin Aydin Gürsoy presents debut film at Le Capitole

Director Hüseyin Aydin Gürsoy will present his debut feature film, ‘Une affaire turque’, at the Le Capitole cinema in Montceau-les-Mines. He will be joined by actor Ramazan Öztürk, a lawyer from Montceau who portrays a central character's father.

The thriller-style film follows Mathieu, a lawyer striving to become a partner in a prominent Parisian firm. His attempt to climb the social ladder by distancing himself from his Turkish roots leads to a conflict when a young Turkish man in need of assistance draws him into a corruption scandal. The story is inspired by Gürsoy’s own experiences as a child of Turkish immigrants in France and the internal tension of navigating dual identities.
