Efkan Ala discusses National Solidarity Law and regional security in Konya

AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala addressed the 'Turkey Century Meetings' in Konya, highlighting the passage of the National Solidarity and Strengthening of Social Integration Law. Ala noted that the law was approved by 467 members of parliament, a high level of consensus he attributed to a dialogue-based political approach.

Ala discussed the party's goals regarding a 'terror-free Turkey' and a civil constitution. He emphasized that regional stability is crucial, stating that terrorism in Syria and Iraq inevitably impacts Turkey. He also mentioned the establishment of a monitoring commission in the Grand National Assembly, led by the Vice President, to oversee mechanisms related to the cessation of violence.

Additionally, Ala touched upon economic visions, aiming to place Turkey among the world's top 10 most developed nations through new reform programs. He also referenced President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's recent addresses at the United Nations, framing them as a voice for the nation and the Islamic world regarding global injustices.
