Hüseyin Yıldız, former MHP Antalya MP, passes away

Hüseyin Yıldız, a former Member of Parliament for the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) representing Antalya during the 23rd term, has passed away following a period of medical treatment.

Yıldız was a prominent figure in the politics of Antalya and Alanya, having served as the MHP Alanya District Chairman and as a member of the party’s Central Executive Board. Beyond his legislative work in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, he was active in the local community, holding the position of vice president at the Alanyaspor sports club.

Former Foreign Minister and AK Party Antalya Deputy Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu issued a condolence message, describing Yıldız as a dedicated individual who had devoted his life to his cause. The funeral service is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 30, at the Hacı Memişler Mosque in Alanya, followed by burial at the Bektaş Family Cemetery.
