HSG Blomberg-Lippe arena renamed SynFlex Arena

The HSG Blomberg-Lippe handball arena has been officially renamed the ‘SynFlex Arena an der Ulmenallee’. The naming follows a public call for ideas that drew over 200 suggestions from citizens and fans.

To mark the occasion, two season ticket winners, who won their passes during the naming process, participated in installing the final letters of the new signage. The partnership between the handball club and SynFlex Elektro GmbH aims to highlight the company’s role as a local employer and its involvement in future-oriented technologies like electromobility and renewable energy.

The arena is scheduled to host its first match under the new name on August 29 against Frisch Auf Göppingen, followed by a ‘SynFlex Match Day’ on September 2 against TuS Metzingen.
