HSG Blomberg-Lippe prepares for EHF Champions League debut in Denmark

HSG Blomberg-Lippe is preparing for its first away match in the EHF Champions League, traveling to face Nykøbing in Denmark. The team enters the competition following a strong performance in the Alsco Handball Bundesliga, bolstered by a recent convincing home victory and strong defensive and goalkeeping displays.

In ice hockey, the Eisbären Berlin opened the new DEL season with a 4:2 victory over the Straubing Tigers. Despite a competitive match where chances were evenly distributed for much of the game, Berlin secured the win through efficient counter-attacks and a strong performance by goaltender Jack LaFontaine.
