HSG Breckenheim Wallau/Massenheim draws with Baunatal in handball match

HSG Breckenheim Wallau/Massenheim secured a 20-20 draw against GSV Eintracht Baunatal in a Regionalliga handball match. Despite facing a five-goal deficit during the game, the team managed to recover through strong defensive play.

Co-coach Klaus Fischer led the team in the absence of Tobias Schimmelbauer. The defensive effort was bolstered by goalkeeper Sebastian Schermuly, who notably saved a seven-meter penalty in the final stages of the game. While the team struggled offensively in the early stages, a tactical shift to seven field players helped close the gap. A direct free throw at the final whistle prevented a Baunatal victory, resulting in a shared point for both sides.
