Hsiao Bi-khim supports DPP candidates in Miaoli County

Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim attended the establishment of a youth support group for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) candidates in Miaoli County. The event featured candidates Chen Pin-an for Miaoli County Magistrate, Lin Yue-chin for Miaoli Mayor, and Chen Chun-nuan for Zhuolan Township Mayor.

During her speech, Hsiao emphasized the importance of action and unity in challenging electoral districts. She highlighted the central government's 'Balanced Taiwan' vision and the 'Taichung-Changhua-Miaoli Silicon Valley Project,' noting that central resources must be effectively allocated to bridge the urban-rural gap and create local industrial momentum and employment opportunities.

Candidate Chen Pin-an introduced a 'Youth 4D' policy aimed at reducing living and entrepreneurial pressures through old house revitalization, study loan subsidies, the establishment of a Miaoli County Angel Fund, and participatory budgeting to increase youth involvement in decision-making.
