Hsinchu City Government names former education bureau chief Yang Junzi as spokesperson

The Hsinchu City Government announced that former Hsinchu County Education Bureau chief Yang Junzi will become the city's spokesperson, with the appointment taking effect on August 3. In her new role she will handle external communication, media relations and explain policy decisions to the public.

Yang holds a doctorate and has experience across academia, corporate management, and parent‑association leadership. She previously served as the head of the Hsinchu County Education Bureau and was a senior manager in private firms. Mayor Gao Hong‑an highlighted her cross‑sector background and crisis‑response skills, saying she will strengthen transparent and timely dialogue between the city administration, residents and the press.
