Hsu Hsin-ying proposes new policies for Hsinchu County

Kuomintang Hsinchu County mayoral candidate and legislator Hsu Hsin-ying has introduced several new policy proposals during a grassroots visit to Zhudong.

Key initiatives include a ‘one-stop female health checkup’ service to provide streamlined medical examinations such as ultrasounds and bone density tests. Hsu also pledged to promote protections for women re-entering the workforce.

Regarding regional development, Hsu proposed upgrading Zhudong from a township to a city. She also emphasized infrastructure and industrial upgrades, including the promotion of Hsinchu Science Park Phase III and the Erzhong Interchange to establish Zhudong and Zhubei as dual cores of Hsinchu County.

For elderly care, her platform includes waiving health insurance co-payments for citizens over 65, increasing respect cards to 1,000 points, and providing free AI smart health bracelets for seniors.
