HSV prepares for cup match against Eintracht Frankfurt

Hamburger SV (HSV) is preparing for a cup match against Eintracht Frankfurt following a recent 0-1 defeat in Paderborn. The team, led by coach Merlin Polzin, enters the fixture as underdogs in an attempt to find a positive turning point in their current season.

Sky expert and former HSV player Erik Meijer commented on the club's trajectory, noting that while the team recently secured three consecutive victories, the primary goal remains securing enough points to maintain a buffer from the lower ranks of the table. Meijer suggested that aiming for European qualification at this stage would be overly ambitious.
