HTX reports on stablecoin economic shifts and TradFi growth
HTX Ventures has released a report titled ‘Open Infrastructure, Closed Financial Rails: Open USD, Revenue Redistribution, and Participant Governance’. The report analyzes the evolution of stablecoin revenue distribution and governance following the introduction of Open USD (OUSD) in June 2026. While blockchain provides open technical infrastructure, the report notes that economic benefits and control rights remain concentrated among issuers who capture reserve yields from cash and short-term Treasuries.
In parallel, HTX reported significant growth in its July 2026 performance. The platform saw a 15% month-to-month increase in new registered users. A key driver was the expansion of its ‘TradFi Zone’, which saw record daily trading volumes. This growth was supported by the launch of 56 new futures assets, specifically targeting sectors such as commodities, precious metals, AI chips, and memory. The platform now supports 170 traditional finance assets, including US stocks and ETFs.
