HTX Ventures reports on CeFi, DeFi, and TradFi convergence

HTX Ventures has released a report titled ‘The Convergence of CeFi, DeFi, and TradFi in 2026: How Institutional-Grade Hybrid Architecture Is Taking Shape’. The document analyzes the merging of Centralized Finance (CeFi), Decentralized Finance (DeFi), and Traditional Finance (TradFi) into a new digital-asset architecture.

According to the report, the industry is moving away from all-in-one platform models toward an unbundled structure. In this hybrid model, TradFi provides regulated, yield-bearing assets; centralized platforms and custodians handle compliance, execution, and institutional access; and DeFi protocols serve as programmable backend infrastructure. This shift is expected to provide institutions with a more controlled method for adopting digital-asset products while reallocating market power toward entities controlling asset issuance, custody, and risk management.
