Hu Ge and Lin Xinru participate in university alumni events

Actor Hu Ge recently visited his alma mater, the Shanghai Theatre Academy, to engage with students. During the session, he reflected on his early career, noting that while filming the popular series ‘Chinese Paladin 3’ felt ‘particularly boring’ and ‘childish’ at the time, he used the experience to encourage younger performers. He emphasized the necessity of securing one's livelihood before pursuing higher artistic ideals.

Separately, actress and producer Lin Xinru was honored as a distinguished alumna at Shih Hsin University. During the ceremony, she discussed her transition from acting to production and the importance of continuous learning. Other notable alumni, including actor Wen Sheng-hao and entrepreneur Tang Sheng-rong, also participated in the event, reflecting on how their university education shaped their professional paths in the media and creative industries.
