Hu Lung-mao expresses disappointment with Asian Games arrangements
Hu Lung-mao, a veteran of the Chinese Taipei men's national basketball team, expressed deep disappointment following the team's exit in the quarterfinals of the Asian Games. In a social media post reflecting on his 15-year career, Hu stated that this specific campaign was the “coldest time” of his life.
He clarified that his distress did not stem from the difficulty of the matches themselves, but rather from the “arrangements of many things” throughout the journey, which left him feeling “disappointed and disheartened.”
Despite his frustrations, Hu expressed gratitude to teammates Chen Ying-chun and Chen Kuan-chuan, noting that this may have been their final Asian Games together. He also thanked Sports Minister Li Yang for providing support and care during the trip, which helped the players feel they were not forgotten.
